Aaron Sorkin, the Hollywood writer who created The West Wing and wrote A Few Good Men, announced on his Facebook Movie group that he has agreed to write a movie for Sony Pictures and producer Scott Rudin (No Country For Old Men, There Will Be Blood) about how Facebook was invented.
The Facebook film, still untitled, will chronicle how an internal messaging system launched from a university dormitory grew into an online enterprise worth as much as 15 billion dollars.
It is expected to focus on Mark Zuckerberg, the Harvard student who in 2004 built the social networking site with friends initially just for Harvard students.

Today Facebook is the king and/or queen of social media and Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire on earth.
The Facebook Movie group currently has over 3,200 members, many of whom have posted messages suggesting plot ideas and offering to help make the film.
Many asked what shape the film would take, to which Sorkin responded: "I honestly don't know how I'm going to write the movie yet."
Whatever direction Sorkin decides to take, I know it will be better than Myspace: The Movie. If you haven’t seen that little disaster, I’ll post it below:
